Inspiration: In response to a news image in the aftermath of Japanese Tsunami 2011. A man stood on the concrete base which was all that remained of his home surrounded by a mass of flotsam and jetsam left by the Tsunami’s violent passage. I considered all the “stuff” that makes up my life and my constant battle to reduce it - I wondered what it must have been to lose everything under such circumstances.
